This is an event which celebrates artists/activists who uses their voices for social good. The artists will literally be using their voices to educate and entertain the audience.

About the Event
For&Bi presents 'Voices for Change'. This is an event which celebrates artists/activists who uses their voices for social good. The artists will literally be using their voices to educate and entertain the audience. The line-up of the performers is :
1. Tashi Choedup
A Buddhist nunk who will be talking about their journey as a transgender activist.
2. Debbie Das
Spoken word poetry that highlights transgender struggles.
3. Suparna Vontair
Singer who will perform 3-4 political songs that celebrate change and resistance.
4. Patruni Sastry
A drag artist who will be using voice-over/ speech in a performance piece.
5. Deepti Sirla
(A life in activism. through a queer feminist/anti caste lens)
We're planning to keep ticket prices at INR 200 so that the event is accessible to a large number of people. All of the funds from the ticket sales and donations will be split between the performers and volunteers for their work. We expect a turnout of around 80 people. We'll be hosting the event at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram on the 11th of August (6-8pm).
